Richard Teasta Ez Lube

Rick Teasta founded EZ Lube in 1988 with then long time friend Mike Dobson. It didn’t take long before Ez Lube became one of the nations leading quick service oil change companies. The duo, owners of Santa Ana-based oil change business EZ Lube Inc., won a Business Journal Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award in 2006.

It has been said that the two entrepreneurs were changing the business landscape in California in 2009 when they were among those benefiting from the open taps of capital that business saw . Teasta and Dobson received $90 million in financing and an undisclosed payment to expand their fleet of EZ Lube shops, surrendering some of their ownership stake in return. In just over ten years they turned a measly $16k investment into a $90 million dollar enterprise.

Today Rick Teasta is using his expertise and business experience as one of the founders of RED O RESTAURANT in Los Angeles.

Red O will be the twenty-first century version of the original and brings together everything I have learned about building a successful business and a dedicated clientele.”
